Athlete Monitorval is developed to help users monitor fitness performance, training schedules, sports progress, injury records, habits, discipline routines, and athletic development.

• Training logs: Workouts, training sessions, load records, and Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE).
• Habit Checklists: Daily tracking records of hydration, sleep, routine discipline, and recovery habits.
• Injury Tracking: Active reports of body discomfort, pain severity, localized muscle strain, and rehabilitation notes.

C. Device and Technical Data

• Device model, manufacturer, and operating system version (Android / iOS).
• App version, network type (Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G), and language settings.
• IP address and anonymous crash reports to resolve software issues.

Athlete Monitorval requires access to your device's Camera and Storage/Gallery in specific, user-initiated contexts. Here is how your photo data is handled:

• Purpose: Camera and Gallery permissions are requested solely to allow you to set or change your profile picture.
• Data Handling: When you select or capture a profile photo, the image is transmitted securely over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our web server. It is saved in a secure, non-public directory associated with your unique account.
• Control & Consent: We do not scan, browse, or read any other files, photos, or videos in your device storage. We only access the single photo you explicitly select.
• Photo Deletion: You can replace your profile picture at any time. When you upload a new photo, the old photo file is permanently deleted from our servers. If you delete your account, your profile photo is completely destroyed.

We strictly practice data minimization. We do not access, collect, or store:

• Your phone contact list, SMS history, or call logs.
• Real-time background location (GPS) data.
• Device audio/microphone access.
• Sensitive medical records (other than self-reported muscle discomfort in the injury tracker).

Your information is used to power the app's functionality and keep your account secure:

• Account Authentication: Verifying your identity during login and securing access.
• Service Delivery: Saving training sessions, calculating daily habit scores, and displaying injury progress.
• Coaching Integration: Sharing your fitness metrics and injury logs exclusively with your linked coach (requires you to share your unique ID manually with the coach).
• System Security & Bug Fixing: Analyzing anonymous crash reports to resolve application errors.

We are committed to user privacy. We strictly follow these sharing rules:

• No Commercial Selling: We never sell, rent, or trade your personal, fitness, or photo data to third-party advertisers or brokers.
• Linked Coaches: If you explicitly link your account with a coach by sharing your unique User ID, that coach will have access to view your dashboard, habits, and injury logs. You can remove a coach link at any time to immediately revoke access.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose data only if required by a valid subpoena, court order, or law enforcement request.

We implement robust, state-of-the-art measures to keep your data secure:

• Encryption: All data transmitted between the App and the server is encrypted using Industry-Standard HTTPS (SSL/TLS).
• Password Security: Manual passwords and PINs are securely hashed in the database using modern algorithms (bcrypt).
• Hosting Protections: Our database and servers are secured behind firewalls with strict administrative access control.

In full compliance with Google Play Store rules, we provide an easy, transparent path for users to delete their account and all associated data.

How to Delete:

• In-App Path: Open the App -> Go to Profile -> Select "Delete Account" -> Confirm with your secure PIN.

We request permissions only when actively needed for a specific user action:

• CAMERA: Required only when capturing a profile photo.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: Required only when selecting an existing photo from the gallery.
• INTERNET: Required to communicate with the secure database to sync logs.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required to deliver training reminders (optional).

Athlete Monitorval is not designed or marketed for children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has registered and provided personal data without verified parental consent, we will delete their data immediately.

We guarantee that our data safety disclosures, permission usage, and account deletion procedures are fully aligned with Google Play's 2026 Developer Policy. We utilize data minimization to ensure that no unnecessary background permissions are requested or used.
